Welcome to Childtime educational daycare in Virginia Beach, VA! My name is Melissa and I am the Director of this NACCRRA-approved learning center. I have 15 years of management experience and my focus is to provide a safe, educational and nurturing environment. Childtime offers a program for Infants, Toddler and Twos which includes the cuties diaper program. Our Preschool and Pre-K programs include STEAM which incorporates technology into the curriculum. We also have an extraordinary School-Age program that consists of transportation to and from school. The current schools we transport include Norfolk Highlands, Georgetown, Sparrow Road, Fairfield, and Woodstock Elementary. New this Fall is the School-Age Prep Lab program. In addition to our before and after-school clubs, the Prep Lab features a full-day option. Teachers support your child's distance learning and e-Learning requirements, share challenging weekly STEM projects, and provide character-developing activities from our My Best Self curriculum.

Our staff has more than 140 years of combined experience and trains throughout the year. Our unique door codes and our strict identification check process, we are constantly monitoring who enters and leaves the building. We also use a mobile app, brightwheel, that sends parents photos, status updates on the activities their child is engaged in, key reminders, events, alerts and more! While we are closely following guidance from the CDC, as well as state and local officials and health authorities, as we take extreme care to maintain a safe and healthy school environment. We conduct temp checks on anyone entering the center as well as require face coverings. We also follow social distancing guidelines and have increased cleaning and sanitation throughout the center. We offer a live video streaming app called WatchMeGrow that allows parents to view their child's day.
