Welcome to Childtime on Crooks, a childcare and preschool conveniently located between Long Lake and Wattles in Troy, MI. Our school proudly serves families in Troy and Royal Oak. We are proud to be an NAEYC accredited center, meeting the highest standards in early childhood education, safety, and quality care.

We offer programs for children ages 6 weeks to 10 years, including Infants, Toddlers, Early Preschool, Preschool, and Pre-K, along with full-time, part-time, and Summer Camp options. We also offer the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) for eligible four year olds, as well as enrichment programs in Soccer and Spanish.

Our experienced team brings over 100 years of combined experience, and our teachers are highly qualified, holding CPR and First Aid Certifications, Child Development Associate (CDA) Credentials, and serving in roles such as Master Teachers and Team Leads.

Families love the strong sense of community here, along with our live streaming camera access to classrooms and real-time photos, videos, and daily updates through our exclusive family app, SproutAbout. Safety and comfort come first in our Infants Program, where Primary Caregivers offer your little one personalized attention. Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space. With a maximum teacher-child ratio of 1:4, your baby always feels the love and attention they need. Diapers and wipes are also included, giving families one less thing to worry about each day.

We have had a really good experience with Childtime. We love the app they use, as it provides us updates of when our children are eating, had a wet diaper, and it gives us a direct line of contact with the teacher for any questions or concerns the teacher may have. My son is in the infant room and we love how wonderful and skilled the teachers are there. They are working on tummy time and other skills for him to meet his milestones. They even handle his dairy allergy and reflux extremely well. My daughter is in the early preschool room and we are amazed by how much she is learning (even only being there two days a week). The set schedule and routine is key for her, along with the great socialization she has with the other children. We love how motivated the staff is to help her learn and continue to work on potty training. The lead teacher of the center, Jenn, is so great and extremely knowledgeable about all the children. We are grateful for this center, all the amazing teachers and the wonderful care our children receive.
