Welcome to Childtime of Yorktown, VA!

We're more than just a daycare-we're a nationally accredited learning center, recognized by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA) for our commitment to high-quality early education. In addition to exceptional Infant Care, our Preschool, Pre-K and School Age programs offer some of the best early learning experiences in the community.

Proudly serving the Kiln Creek community and surrounding areas including Yorktown, Poquoson, and Newport News, our dedicated team brings over 125 years of combined experience in early childhood education.

Our classrooms feature modern technology to enhance learning. Preschool and Pre-K students use iPads with educational apps and games. Pre-K students explore hands-on learning in our STEAM Workshop-covering science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math. Our School-Age program includes iPads, moviemaking tools, coding robots, and more!

I think Childtime and I share a philosophy about education and compassion. I am very satisfied with how well my child has been handled and taught since 12 weeks of age. He gets exposure that he probably wouldn't have gotten otherwise (sign language as an infant, kids' music and videos as a toddler) and he loves it. He talks about his friends and teachers and enjoys going to school every day.

I adore this school and would NEVER consider changing. Even if I moved I would ensure I didn't move far enough that my daughter couldn't attend Childtime. Hi! I am Ms. Danielle! I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve families in Yorktown and surrounding areas! I I have been in education for 20 years as of July 2025.My passion is deeply rooted in early childhood education. I have discovered ECE is the foundation where becoming a life long learner begins. I am excited to play a part in cultivating a great foundation for young learners.
